Tim Heiderscheit

Tim Heiderscheit joined the Quest team in 2018 as a Mechanical Engineer. Having worked with Quest Thermal for over five years, he has developed an engineering acumen and strong understanding of the advanced thermal insulation and aerospace applications. With this foundation in place, Tim has contributed to several high-profile Quest-NASA R&D initiatives, lunar/Mars development programs, and two major NASA spaceflight endeavors including Lucy and the Roman Space Telescope. 

Tim’s responsibilities range in complexity and scale, focusing on meeting each mission’s requirements and client’s goals. His expertise encompasses the design of insulation blankets and mechanical components, the creation of thermal and structural models, the development of custom fabrication fixtures, the formulation of manufacturing processes, active participation in quality assurance management, and providing support in the fabrication process. In addition, Tim is involved with client relationship development and various marketing initiatives.
