Scott Dye is Quest’s Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Principal Investigator for the Quest team with over 30 years dedicated to the design and manufacture of cutting-edge products and mechanical systems. As Principal Investigator, he has been pivotal to the success of over 30 advanced thermal insulation programs commissioned by NASA, contributing to the successful realization of IMLI and pioneering derivative technologies. Scott manages Quest’s intellectual property portfolio and is the inventive force behind seven U.S. patents, with additional patents currently in prosecution. Beyond his inventive prowess, Scott has co-authored numerous white papers and publications that showcase his expertise in thermal insulation solutions.
With a commitment to excellence, Scott brings extensive experience in product and technology development and adherence to good manufacturing practices. His expertise extends to a profound understanding of micro-molded part design and the intricacies of design for manufacturing, reflecting a comprehensive grasp of aerospace engineering.
